license to shop!

I've noticed that clients are experiencing unprecedented success with silent auctions, grossing more than previous auctions. I think people want to shop, but are reluctant due to the economy (either because they are cutting back on expenses, or because it appears crass to shop while others are financially suffering) - but silent auctions are a great excuse to indulge and spend money while supporting a good cause. It's all for charity, after all!
